Samajwadi Party splits, Mulayam-Shivpal makes a new party

New Delhi: The inevitable has happened. Simmering discontent and bad blood within the Samajwadi party have come out in open with a loud and clear message. The grand old Samajwadi Party has split. Shivpal Yadav has taken the move to make a new party and elder brother Mulayam Singh Yadav, who was the patriarch of the family and the party has chosen to go along with his brother leaving behind his son, former CM of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav.

The new party is named Samajwadi secular Morcha. Mulayam Singh Yadav who has earlier formed the Samajwadi Party will head the new party as well. The 'chacha-bhatija' war was in open and Shivpal had shared his plan back then that if Akhilesh is not supportive then he will float a new party.

Mulayam Singh Yadav tried his level best tp patch up the differences between the two, but things did not seem to be moving in the right direction and this split was inevitable.
