New Delhi, Nov 22: It was recent that a blunder and height of negligence in the education system of UP, Agra University came in bright light. It was a fortnight before President of India, Ram Nath Kovind was expected to be a part of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Agra University's convocation to distribute medals and certificates to students that a marketsheet was found of a first-year BA student with Bollywood actor, Salman Khan's photo.
Marksheet with the roll number 17028700***** has a passport-sized photo of Salman Khan pasted on it, while the card bears the name of a student who scored aggregate 35% in BA first year in Amrata Singh Memorial Degree College, Tejpur Java, Aligarh which is affiliated to Agra University.
Reports from the university administration stated that another market had Congree Vice President, Rahul Gandhi's picture on it. "There were scores of other marksheets as well, in which student's names were wrongly printed as Bhimrao Ambedkar instead of their original name on the marksheet. Chances of such kind of mistakes are more at the private agency level, who was hired for printing marksheet," said a source.
Public relation officer G S Sharma of university denied of any such discrepancy and said, "We have not received any complaint from anyone in this regard."
Earlier last year, an inter college in Agra pasted former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun's photo on an admit card issued by the state board for the high school examination.
