Salman Khan appears in Joddhpur court in Arms Act Case

New Delhi: Salman Khan presented himself before the district and sessions court in Jodhpur on Friday in connection in connection with an Arms Act case. "Court had asked us to deposit bond of Rs 20,000 which we'll deposit today, " Hastimal Saraswat, Salman Khan's lawyer on Illegal Arms Act case had informed media earlier.

He further informed that there would be no questions & answers only bail bond has to be submitted. It is not essential for accused to be present Salman Khan was charged with possessing an unlicensed .22 rifle and a .32 revolver and using them to poach two black bucks at Jodhpur’s Kankani village in 1998.

Earlier the chief juicial magistrate had cited insufficient evidence to acuit the super star. Prosecution's appeal against the decision is likely to be heard today.

 In this 19-year-old case, Khan was charged with possessing an unlicensed .22 rifle and a .32 revolver and using them to poach two black bucks.  The 51-year-old actor is required to present himself before the district and session judge to present a bail bond of Rs 20,000 as per an April 21 order, defence counsel Hastimal Saraswat said.
