Sacked AAP minister needles party over Punjab loss

New Delhi: Sacked AAP minister Sandeep Kumar, who was arrested on charges of rape, today sniped at the party leadership over its disappointing performance in the Punjab Assembly polls.

In a series of tweets, without taking any name, Kumar appeared to train his guns at the AAP leadership while congratulating the Congress over its emergence with a "huge mandate".

"A lot of people will learn a lesson from the mandate. Aam Aadmi Zindabad," he wrote.

Meanwhile, AAP chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's only reaction came through a tweet.

"We accept people's mandate. All volunteers worked hard.

Our struggle will continue," he posted.
