New Delhi, Oct 21: The new Redmi Note-series phones, Redmi Note 8 Pro and Redmi Note 8 next sale has been scheduled for tomorrow and they will be available for purchase through Amazon.in, Mi.com, and Mi Home Stores.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro price in India is set at Rs. 14,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, while its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option is priced at Rs. 15,999, and the top-of-the-line 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model carries a price tag of Rs. 17,999.
Both Redmi Note 8 sale and Redmi Note 8 Pro sale will start at 12pm on Amazon.in, Mi. com, and Mi Home stores on Tuesday. Airtel customers recharging with Rs. 249 and Rs. 349 prepaid plans for 10 months will have offers and double data benefits on both the Xiaomi phones
The key highlights of the device is its 4,500mAh battery, 64-megapixel quad camera setup and the Helio G90T SoC processor.
Redmi Note 8 Pro supports dual-SIM, runs on Android Pie based MIUI 10. The device features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) screen. Under the hood, the Redmi Note 8 Pro has MediaTek's new gaming-focussed MediaTek Helio G90T SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM.
Moreover, Redmi has added liquid cooling feature which would keep the phone about 4-6 degrees cooler, enabling longer durations of gaming without a drop in performance. This will also improve the gaming experience for the Redmi Note 8 Pro users.
Talking about the camera, the Pro variant is the company's first phone with a 64-megapixel main camera. It has a 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter and two 2-megapixel cameras.
For the selfie lovers, there is a 20-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
Besides, the device packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, Redmi Note 8 pro supports NFC and has USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack and IR blaster.
