New Delhi, November 6: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi will launch its Redmi Note 6 Pro at an event in China while it is also reported that this smartphone will be announced in India soon. The best highlights of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro are its display notch and quad camera setup. The Redmi Note 6 Pro is the first smartphone in the budget series to come with two cameras on both sides.
The Redmi Note 6 Pro was first launched in Thailand and considered to be a worthy successor of the popular Redmi Note 5 Pro that was launched in India earlier this year.
In Thailand, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro was launched at 6,990 Baht which is approximately Rs. 15,600 for the 3GB+32GB model, whereas the smartphone also comes with 4GB+64GB storage variant.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro specifications
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will feature a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio with 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone will be powered by the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 paired with two options 3GB / 4GBRAM and 32GB / 64GB storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD.
For photography, the Redmi Note 6 Pro will sport a dual camera set up of 12MP and 5MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash and AI dynamic bokeh mode. On the front, there is also a dual camera set up of 20MP camera and secondary 2MP camera with AI portrait selfie mode.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 10 out of the box and will be backed by a 4000mAh battery.
