Are you all set for another wedding?
Are we still basking in on the glory and beauty of Virat and Anushka's splendid wedding????
Nothing would cheer Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's fans more than the DeepVeer (as the couple is lovingly called) wedding. And their wish might be true in the next 3-4 months, if a report by a leading daily is to be believed.
According to well-placed insiders, Ranveer and Deepika's parents have already met to finalise the wedding date. Apparently, Prakash and Ujjala Padukone flew down from Bengaluru to last week for the same. After a long discussion at Deepika's Prabhadevi residence, the couple and their parents went to dine at Four Seasons hotel.
A source revealed that Ranveer and Deepika wanted a destination wedding, away from the prying eyes of the media, a la Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma (for obvious security reasons). However, Ranveer's parents are keen that the ceremony takes place in Delhi, as most of the actor's relatives live there.
"The wedding will take place as per South Indian rituals and high profile venues such as Four Seasons and St Regis are being considered as the venue. The wedding ceremony will be followed by a grand reception," the source added.
Apparently, Deepika is currently in London with Ranveer's parents, and the trio has already started shopping for the big day. Ranveer could not accompany them as he is busy with Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy.
Interestingly, speculations were rife that Ranveer and Deepika were getting engaged in Sri Lanka on her birthday.
However, as has been the story in the past four years, she has refuted it. Anisha Padukone joked, "She has been engaged successively for the last four years."
Here are three destinations that could possibly be in the works for them, since they are quite the beach-lovers:
* Phulay Bay, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve
The Ritz-Carlton is known for its superlative service and incredible resorts, so it’s no surprise that the Phulay Bay, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve makes the list of dream destinations for couples. Flanked by Krabi’s stunning limestone cliffs, the resort offers a tranquil and picturesque setting. You can have a quite and secluded ceremony. It houses 54 private villas and views of the Andaman Sea. The resort, which can host up to 120 people for a wedding, is also home to some of Krabi’s best restaurants.
* Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai
The Nam Hai has just emerged from an extensive facelift with updated interiors, open-air pavilions and a zen vibe. It's near a UNESCO world heritage site packed with historic buildings and colorful shops, while the resort itself reaches across Hoi An’s gorgeous Ha My beach. The newly renovated villas make the most of the idyllic surrounds, with outdoor showers and ocean views, and some have their own private pools. For couples who want to stay with their families—or put up their relatives in style—there’s a regal 7,100sqft villa with five bedrooms.
