Rahul reacts to Modi's speech: "PM forgets he is PM now, he should answer questions"

New Delhi, Feb 7:  PM Narendra Modi speaks in Lok Sabha on the motion of thanks to the President's address. Opposition raises loud slogans in Lok Sabha as the Prime Minister speaks. He spoke on multiple topics, from the proud history of India to the follies of the Congress party. It appeared as if it was Modi's point by point rebuttal of charges of the Opposition all along. Though the Congress president did not react inside the Parliament, outside when he was questioned by the media to react on prime minister's speech he said, " I think Modiji has forgotten that he is the PM now, he should answer questions and not always accuse the opposition," pointing out, "He spoke for more than one hour but didn't speak a word on Rafale deal, or on farmers or on employment for youth. It was a totally political speech."

"We were also in favour of Telangana. But this is the outcome of hurried-bifurcation keeping polls in mind," siad PM Modi.

"For decades, one party devoted all their energies to serving one family. The interests of the nation were looked over just for the interests of one family. Aapne Maa Bharat ke tukde kar diye, iske bavajood ye desh aapke sath raha, aap uss zamane mein desh mein raaj kar rahe the jis samay vipaksh na ke barabar tha."

Opposition's loud slogans of 'jhutha bhashan bandh karo', 'jhuthe ashwasan bandh karo' continued as PM Modi spoke.
