Patna, Apr 24: Nitish Kumar was ready to merge JD(U) with Congress for post of PM. The Bihar CM made this offer after RJD refused his offer to take him back into Mahagathbandhan. This sensational revelation was made by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav while speaking to News 24 Editor-in-Chief Anurradha Prasad at Bihar Manthan conclave organised by News 24.

"First JD(U) VP Prashant Kishor came with the proposal of making me CM if we supported his candidature for PM ship. We rejected the offer, then Nitish approached Congress with merger offer," added Lalu Yadav's son.Taking a jibe at PM Narendra Modi for his alleged jumlas, Tejashwi called PM "manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of lies". Accusing Nitih Kumar of corruption and U-turns, the young leader referred to him as "Chacha 420".
