PeeCee to make her comeback in Bollywood with Aitraaz 2?

Just when we thought that Priyanka Chopra had been swept away by the tides of Hollywood Glitz and Glam, she has indeed okayed a project in Bollywood.

According to reports, filmmaker Subhash Ghai is planning a sequel of Aitraaz and intends to cast Chopra again as one of the lead characters.

When the Akshay Kumar-Priyanka Chopra-Kareena Kapoor starrer Aitraaz released in 2004, it surprised everyone with its gripping story, fabulous performances by the cast, and striking dialogues. Chopra won the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Negative role beating Abhishek Bachchan (Yuva), John Abraham (Dhoom), Ajay Devgn (Khakee).

Ghai reportedly had been working on the story for the past two years, but the script of the film has been finalised. The Mirror report also mentions that Chopra is also keen to work in the sequel, owing to the fact that a major share of acclaim in her cinematic career is credited to this film. She is expected to start discussing the story and other details with the team after she is back from her Quantico season 3 schedule in New York.

Aitraaz sequel will have a new setting, as reported by Mirror; while Ghai will be backing the project, he is reportedly wanting to sign another director to helm the project.

Meanwhile her current Bollywood movie, 'A Kid Like Jake' was featured at the Sundance Film Festival. Also, she is busy wrapping the third season of her hit series, Quantico.
