New Delhi, News24 Bureau, June 26: Nusrat Jahan and Mimi Chakraborty looked damn gorgeous in their Indian avatar and touched hearts as they went ahead to touch the feet of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. This unique gesture of the Bengali beauties and actresses made them the talk of the town.

Gorgeous TMC leaders Nusrat Jahan and Mimi Chakraborty touched hearts as they went ahead to touch the feet of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla after taking oath in Bangla in the Lok Sabha and saying Jai Bangla in the same breath.

The beautiful ladies who had made heads turn with their gorgeous avatar as they clicked some beautiful pictures in their Western outfit. The first-time MPs from Trinamool Congress were trolled for their bindaas attitude but the ladies cared less about the trolls that followed their photo session.

The gesture of touching feet of the Speaker needs a special mention because TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee and PM Narendra Modi are at loggerheads and 'didi' leaves no opportunity of hurling attacks on senior BJP leaders including Home Minister Amit Shah.

 Trinamool Congress's winning candidate from Jadavpur, Mimi Chakraborty before taking oath made a special mention of her salutation for the seniors in the House.


Nusrat Jahan, the Trinamool MP from Basirhat is newly married.Newly-elected Trinamool Congress MPs Nusrat Jahan Ruhi and Mimi Chakraborty on June 25 took oath as members of the Lok Sabha.The two actors-turned-politicians could not take oath as Nusrat Jahan recently got married to businessman Nikhil Jain and Chakraborty also attended the ceremony in Turkey.After taking the oath in Bangla they ended it with slogans of Vande Matram, Jai Hindi and Jai Bangla.After taking oath, the two went up to Speaker Om Birla to touch his feet.It is customary for members to greet the Speaker on the podium.Earlier the two gorgeous women were trolled for coming to Parliament in a gorgeous avatar.

The only 'mistake' of gorgeous looking Bengali actors Mimi Chakraborty and Nusrat Jahan was that they wore smart and Page-3 clothes in Parliament and posed for a selfie. But they were not ready to take things lying low.

The two posted pictures of their first day at the Parliament.  But it seems the Twitter didn't take too kindly to the posing of the newbies in front of the Parliament.
