New Delhi, Sept 6: 'Meri Pyaari Bindu' star, Parineeti Chopra is recently wrapped with Australia honour by becoming the first Indian woman Ambassador to encourage Indians to visit the country.
Being presented the Friend Of Australia (FOA) recognition by Australian Consul General Tony Huberfor, Parineeti will be the first Indian to be a part of the FOA advocacy panel.
Apart from Parineeti, popular chef, Sanjeev Kapoor and cricket commentator, Harsha Bhoglehave has been one of the great advocates for Australia, and thus, have been encouraging Indians to visit Australia.
To promote Australis as a tourist destination, Parineeti will be soon heading to Queensland and Northern Territory, to explore Australia's exotic aquatic and coastal life and mesmerizing wildlife with a variety of fine food and wine.
In a media confrontation, Parineeti said "I am extremely delighted today to be appointed as a Friend of Australia since Australia is one of my favorite holiday destination, I had visited the country last year and I feel there is so much more to explore that one trip is not enough. The country has much more to offer and I'm fascinated by its warm and welcoming people, spectacular nature, unique wildlife, world-class food and wine options and smorgasbord of adventure activities"
