Padmavati Dubai Twist: Swamy sees a conspiracy to defame Hindu women

New Delhi, Nov 10: This is the latest twist in the Padmavati row and quite a unique one it is. Master of bold statements, one who never shies away from speaking his mind on camera has come out with a unique  interpretation on the Padmavati row.  says, "One must see if there is international conspiracy in it, Dubai's people want Muslim kings to be shown as heroes." He feels that there is some vested interest o few who want to bring a bad name for Indian women.

The row surrounding the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus is refusing to die down. Ever since this film has come on floor, it is marred by one controversy or the other and as the release day of this grand epic drama draws near, resistance against its release is getting bigger and more violent.

Supreme Court dismisses petition filed against release of the film Padmavati.

While dismissing the petition, Supreme Court said that the Censor Board has not yet issued certificate to Padmavati, it is an independent body and therefore SC should not intervene in their jurisdiction.
Bhansali released a video statement on the film's official Twitter account yesterday calling the Deepika Padukone-Shahid Kapoor-Ranveer Singh starer his tribute to the "sacrifice, valour and honour" of Rani Padmavati. In his video appeal, Bhansali said rumours about a romantic dream sequence between Rani Padmavati (Padukone) and Alauddin Khilji.

Various Rajput groups have accused the director of distorting historical facts.
