New Delhi, July 12: Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched its much awaited Fine X at an event in New Delhi, the bezel-less smartphone with a motorised camera.
The Oppo Find X features as a ‘pop up’ housing for the front and rear camera modules, making it unique in the market at the moment.
Oppo Find X can be purchased via both online and offline modes - the smartphone will be exclusive to Flipkart. The sales on the e-commerce site will start a day ahead of offline availability. Pre-orders on Flipkart will start on July 25. Apart from the regular variant, the company will also launch an Oppo Find X Automobili Lamborghini Edition in the Indian market, however, there is no word on release or price yet.
Oppo Find X specifications
Oppo Find X features a 6.42-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM.
For photography, the Oppo Find X sports a motorised camera slider that comprises both the front and rear cameras that can be raised when needed and can also be used to unlock the smartphone using 3D facial recognition. On the rear, it has a dual camera setup consisting 16MP and 20 MP camera with LED flash while on the front it will sport 25MP camera.
The company claims that its facial scanning tech O-Face Recognition is similar to the iPhone X.
The Oppo Find X is a dual-SIM (Nano) and will run on Color OS 5.O1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and will be backed by 3730 mAh battery with VOOC fast charging support.
As far the price is concerned the Oppo Find X price tagged at Rs. 59,990 in India
