Now you can run Whatsapp directly from Play Store with new update

New Delhi, Dec 1: Facebook-owned WhatsApp has over 1.3 billion users, out of which around 250 million are in India. The messaging app is apparently one of the best chatting apps and the company regularly adds features to make the service more useful and fun. These features first reach the WhatsApp beta testers before public roll out. WABetaInfo- a renowned WhatsApp update tracking website regularly reports the upcoming updates.

In the latest, WABetaInfo has tracked two new updates and took it to Twitter to announce with a tweet, “Good news: you can now install WhatsApp on your Android tablet directly from the Play Store (ONLY IF YOU’RE A BETA TESTER — 2.18.367)! It wasn’t possible in the past and it was necessary to download the APK separately.”

This means beta users don't have to download the APK file and can install directly from the Play Store.

Apart from this, WhatsApp beta version 2.18.366 in Android is upgraded and now will offer a multi-share feature allowing users to see the preview of the text that they will share with two or more contacts from any third-party apps.

Users will get the preview after they hit the share button on any of the third-party apps. The preview will emerge on the screen once users hit the send button after selecting at least two of their contacts. Users will also get the link preview while sharing a URL directly from apps such as Twitter or YouTube.
