Pancham Saude, New Delhi: Ever since Jio launched, tariff war in the telecom market is on and it seems to have no end. Jio has been revising its plans on regular intervals to keep its customers intact and forcing other companies to come up with better plans or leave market share, In a latest, country's second largest telecom company Airtel has come up with a new data plan that costs just Rs 5 for prepaid customers.
Earlier to this, the company introduced Rs 8 plan for its prepaid customers. Airtel's Rs 5 plan offers users 4GB of 4G data with a validity of only for seven days. The Rs 5 plan is only available for 4G SIM cards with a condition that this recharge can be done only once by a user. Once the seven days validity is over, the remaining data won't be carried forward.
