From breaking television sets to issuing death threats to national team players, Pakistani fans have done it all.
Now, for a change, one fan has taken the legal route to express his anger against the Pakistan cricket team.
The fan in question has filed a petition in the Gujranwala Civil Court here against skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed and the rest of the Pakistan team, calling for a ban on all the members of the squad.
The petitioner, whose name has not been revealed, also wants a ban on the selection committee, which is headed by batting legend Inzamam-Ul-Haq.
The judge at the Gujranwala Civil Court has summoned Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials for their response to the petition.
The Pakistan team succumbed to their seventh consecutive loss against arch-rivals India in the history of the cricket World Cup on June 16.
India dominated with both bat and ball as the Pakistanis went down by 89 runs in a rain-interrupted match via the Duckworth-Lewis method.
More than the defeat, it is the nature of the loss which has irked fans in Pakistan.
Following the defeat, Pakistani fans have questioned almost everything around their national team, criticising the players' attitude, diet and skills.
