New Delhi: In a bid to attract more commuters to travel on the Airport Line, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has increased the frequency of trains during the peak hours.
Commuters can now board the train every 10 minutes, frequency of which earlier varied between 10-15 minutes.
“In order to further encourage commuters to use the line, the frequency of trains will be 10 minutes throughout the peak hours i.e. 8 AM to 8 PM,” DMRC said.
Trains on this line are available from 4:45 AM till 11:30 PM.
DMRC has also introduced a new train on the Airport Express line to facilitate commutation on the line, which connects Dwarka Sector 21 Metro Station with the IGI Airport Terminal 3.
