New Delhi, October 27: Nokia 7.1 that debuted in London on October 4 was speculated to arrive in India earlier but the latest report suggests that the smartphone will arrive in India by November with a price tag of Rs 30,000.
Earlier this year in April, Nokia 7 with a sleek and tall full metal rust colour was announced in India priced at Rs 25,999.
Now the Nokia 7.1 should not be confused with Nokia X7 (Nokia 7.1 Plus) that launched in China on October 16. However, both have a similar design with a notch display and glass back.
91mobiles has also reported that Nokia will launch the Nokia 7.1 in India but official word on the launch is yet to come from the company.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Nokia 7.1 sports a 5.84-inch FHD+ notch bearing display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and with 19:9 aspect ratio. The device will have an IPS LCD panel, what the company calls Pure Display, with HDR 10 support. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 636 chipset paired with either 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage which can be expandable via micro SD card.
For photography, it will sport a dual camera setup at rear consisting 12Mp and 5MP cameras while 8MP camera on the front.
The Nokia 7.1 will run on Android 8.1 Oreo under the Android One program with a guaranteed update to Android 9 Pie.
