Nitish will be CM candidate in 2020, NDA may hit 40 mark in BIhar, Sushil Modi speaks to News24

Patna, Apr 24: Nitish Kumar will be NDA's CM candidate again in the 2020 Bihar assembly elections. While announcing this Bihar Dy CM Sushil Modi predicted a landslide for NDA in Bihar claiming that " Modi wave in 2019 is even bigger than that of 2014". Modi was speaking to News24 Editor-in-Chief at the conclave Bihar Manthan organised by the channel here.   " The development by Narendra Modi-Nitish combine has been widely accepted by people in Bihar. Voters here expect to see Gujarat-like development and thus have decided to vote back NDA to power. We will get more than 32 seats, which can go up to 40," said a confident sounding Sushil Modi.          Responding to Tejashwi Yadav's allegations that " Nitish 'Paltu' Kumar will take U-turn after elections", Sushil Modi clarified that JD(U)-BJP ties are strong and Nitish will again be potrayed as CM candidate in the 2020 assembly.  Citing development work under NDA, Sushil modi said that electricity will reach all fields by the end of this year. "Farmers will now use electricity instead of diesel for farming," said Bihar Dy CM.
