Navratri 2018: Kalsah Sthapna muhurat lasts just for 1 hrs 2 mins; know puja vidhi, tithi and muhurat

New Delhi, News24 Bureau, Oct 9: Navaratri is one of the most awaited festivals which is celebrated in different ways in different parts of the country. Navratri in the Northern part of the country is Durga Puja in the Eastern zone. This is one of the most revered and auspicious festivals in India. This year the 'Kalash Sthapna' auspicious muhurat is just for 1 hour 2 minutes. So devotees have to get up fast and perform the puja quickly. First and Second Navratri is on the same day and after 7.25 AM the second Naratra sets in and you cannot do 'kalash Sthapan' then. Day 5 Navratri will be for two days this year. Maa is arriving on a boat and is departing on an elephant. The puja starts on 10th October, Wednesday. Here we tell you the Navratra Puja vidhi, titthi and shubh muhurat:The auspicious festival of Navaratra begins on 10th October this year.Shubh Muhurat: The shubh muhurat for 'kalash stahapna' is very less this time it lasts only for 1 hour 2 minutes. 'Kalash Sthapna should be done between 6.22 AM to 7.25 AM.  Things you need for Navratri Puja :A kalash, supari, beetel leaves, sinddor, mauli, rice, some coins, rauli, shringar for Mother Goddess, fruits, flowers, red clothNavaratri Puja Vidhi:-First of all put an aasan for the Godess and cover it with red cloth.-Put a Kalash filled with water on top of a mound of sand or soil. Sprinkle 'jau' or barly in this sand or soil.-Wrap the kalash with a red cloth.-Put a few coins-Do puja of the kalash and Vedi with incense sticks, roli, fruits, sweets, flowers and cloves- Wap supari, cloves, cardamom in beetle leaf. Offer this as well.-Everyday sprinkle a little water on the sand/soil.On tenth day distribute the tender saplings to all devotees.
