Bhopal: Their love for selfies put the lives of two girls in extreme danger in the Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh.
The two of them had gone for a picnic near a river along with a group of several other girls. While they were taking a selfie, the water level of the river suddenly increased due to which both the girls stuck in the middle. After this the police and local administration rescued them with great difficulty.
While they were taking a selfie while sitting on a stone in the middle of the river, the water level of the river suddenly increased, due to which two young women were caught in the middle of the surging stream.
Seeing them stuck in the river, the other girls informed the police. The girls were rescued and taken out of the river safely after a combined effort by the police, local administration and village committee.
According to sources, a group of 10-12 girls and boys had gone for a picnic at the river on Thursday. During this time, while taking selfies on the stones in the middle of the river, the women got trapped due to increased water flow.
