NASA releases recording of ‘outer space music’

New Delhi: Astronauts of Apollo 10, who orbited the moon before Neil Armstrong’s historic landing, heard an ‘unexplainable’ music while they were on the far side of the moon and lost contact with the Earth station.

“The music even sounds outer-spacey, doesn’t it?”

“You hear that? That whistling sound?”

“Well that sure is weird music!”

The conversation between Eugene Cernan and John Young indicates that the astronauts heard sounds they had never heard before.

As far as the public knew, the mission went flawlessly.

But nearly four decades later the lost recordings emerge revealing an unsettling incident on the far side of the moon.

While the transcripts of the conversation were released in 2008, the audio discussion between the astronauts was released recently.

According to the Science Channel, the sound was so weird that the astronauts debated whether they should or shouldn’t mention the incident to their seniors in NASA.
