Militants attack army camp in J&K, 2 injured

Jammu:  A group of heavily armed militants attacked an army camp in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Heavy firing exchanges are now going on between the militants and security forces, police said. "A group of heavily armed militants, believed to be four-to-five in number, attacked the 166 field regiment camp in Nagrota area of Jammu today (Tuesday) morning," the police said.

The terrorists reportedly lobbed grenades and opened fire at soldiers around 5:30am where two soldiers have said to be injured in the firing.

The field regiment camp is located in the garrison town of Nagrota near the headquarters of army's 16 corps in the state.
