New Delhi, Feb 22: Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is rumoured to be the next smartphone that Chinese smartphone maker will launch. Several leaks and speculations have made their ways since December last year. The latest information that has surfaced online is that Xiaomi is planning to come with many interesting features including wireless charging, iris scanner and more.
According to the report, the handset will feature a display with 18:9 aspect ratio while earlier report hinted at a 6.99-inch display, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC or Snapdragon 630 SoC. Mi Max 3 will be backed by a 5500mAh battery which is comparatively larger than the 5300mAh battery on the Mi Max 2.
However, the highlight of the latest rumour is wireless charging feature in the Xiaomi Mi Max 3. Last year, Xiaomi become a member of the Wireless Power Consortium which is known for its Qi wireless charging standard. This gives more boost to the rumour that the Mi Max 3 could be the first Mi smartphone to feature Qi wireless charging.
The leak also suggested that Mi Max 3 will run on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo and can have iris scanner.
Mi Max 3 is expected to be launched in June 2018 with a price tag of CNY 1,699 which is roughly Rs 17,400.
