#MeToo: Now women journalists take to streets in Delhi with slogans and placards

New Delhi, News24 Bureau, Oct 13: The #MeToo India chapter has now become a movement gradually and has taken to the streets. The national capital today witnessed the anger spilling on the streets of Delhi, in Parliament Street. Women journalists, across all age-groups, veterans as well as young ones were seen displaying placards and shouting slogans on the street. The placards had message loud and clear: The women journalists will not take harassment of any kind in the workplace.

The MeToo Tsunami is raging fiercely and is bringing high and mighty on their knees. The movement kickstarted in Hollywood first and the Indian chapter was opened by Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta. And then all hell broke loose. Shocking names started coming up and further shocking was when established names in Indian journalism, all women, came out with horrific tales of their #MeToo movement.

Even their male counterparts were seen lending out support to them during the protest.
