New Delhi: India is in no mood to pardon Pakistan for the cowardly act at the LoC where on the Indian side two of its soldiers were beheaded. The external Affairs Ministry today summoned Pakistan High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit.
He was summoned for the highly deplorable incidents of the killing and mutilation of two Indian soldiers at the Line of Control at Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir. There has been a high-octane reaction to the deplorable and unethical acts. The MEA made following points very strictly, to send across the message to Pakistan:
-Consider it a strong act of provocation, was preceded by covering fire from Pak soldiers. He, of course, denied that Pak army was involved, but assured he will convey contents of our demarche to his government: MEA spokesperson Gopal Bagley
-Attack was preceded by covering fire from Pakistan posts
-Blood trail shows killers returned across Line of Control (LoC) and that Pakistan army is behind mutilation of our jawans:
