NEW DELHI (DIVYA SAINI): Dry skin occurs when skin doesn't retain sufficient moisture. You can add these natural remedy to your skin-care routine to make your skin look moisturized and healthy.
1. Olive oil
You can apply olive oil to your skin. You will witness that your skin begins to glow and have a shining tone to it. It will give a 24 hour moisturizer to your skin.
2. Avocado facial mask
Apply homemade avocado facial mask which will smoothen your skin and prevent your skin from getting dry. Take half avocado and add a teaspoon of honey. Once this is done, apply the mix to your face and let it dry for 20 minutes. This will moisturize your skin and keep it glowing.
3. Coconut oil
Another homemade remedy to get rid of dry skin is to apply coconut oil on your skin before sleeping and keep it overnight. Coconut oil becomes solid under room temperature, so this will make it the perfect moisturizing cream to use.
You can add milk to your face as it is said to have lactic acid and anti-inflammatory properties that can cure itchy skin including skin cracks and make your skin look healthy and moisturized.
5. Aloe vera gel
Aloe vera gel is the best natural moisturizer for dry skin and skin cracks and it also removes the skin tan, acne and sunburn and makes skin look healthy and plump.
6. Cinnamon powder and Honey
Cinnamon powder and honey make it a good mix for dry skin. Once you have applied this, you need to wash it off after 15 minutes. This home remedy will help treat dry skin and make your skin healthy in winter season.
7. Banana Facial
If you have dry skin, you can also use a banana facial to treat it. All you need to do is to mash 2 bananas using the back of a spoon and add some coconut oil to it. Then apply it to your skin and allow it to dry for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes you can rinse it with some cold water.
