New Delhi: The world is already suffering from COVID- 19 pandemic and we all need to boost our immunities to fight against it and as scientists say performing yoga helps to improve the functioning of your immune system.
Here are a few yoga poses that everyone should follow to increase the immunity as it will also help in weight loss, boost immunity and healthy skin and hairs as well as over all health during the pandemic situation.
Here are some yoga poses everyone should try to boost their immunity during COVID- 19 pandemic situation:
1. Locust Pose
Instructions:
1 Lie on your stomach
2 Stretch your arms ahead
3 Keep your feet together while keeping knees straight
4 Lift up your legs and arms up together by inhaling the oxygen
5 Try to lift your head up and also raise your chest off the floor
6 Try to hold the posture for 20 seconds
2. Mountain Pose
Instructions:
1 Stand straight with your feet together
2 Keep the back straight
3 Slowly bring your hands together and interlock the palms
4 Try to stretch your arms up, palms facing outward and inhale slowly
5 Look up gently and drop your head back on your shoulders slowly
6 Hold for 10 seconds. Repeat this twice
3. Four-Limbed Staff Pose on Elbows
Instructions:
1 Place your palms under the shoulders and knees below your hips
2 Try to lift your knees off the ground slowly and align your pelvis with your shoulders
3 Drop your elbows slowly on your mat
4 Try Aligning your elbows with your shoulders
5 Balance your stomach area
4. Crow Pose
Instructions:
1 Begin with your hands and knees on the ground
2 Place your elbows down at a shoulder distance and also spread our your fingers
3 Try to bring your knees to your triceps
4 Lean forward by slowly shifting your body weight on your triceps
5 Lift both your feet off the ground slowly and try to balance
6 Hold for 10 seconds.
