Sheila Dikshit cremated with state honours, hundreds at funeral

New Delhi, July 21: Former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit died here on Saturday. She was 81.

The senior Congress leader will be cremated at the Nigambodh Ghat later on Sunday.

-Sheila Dikshit's body was taken to the 'karmabhoomi' Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee's office for the last time, the place that was central to her politics since 1998. 

-People come out in large numbers to bid adieu to Congress leader Sheila Dikshit at Nigambodh Ghat. 

-The truck carrying the casket moved slowly as the road was packed with supporters who chanted 'Jab tak suraj chand rahega Sheila ji ka naam rahega'.
