New Delhi, News24 Bureau, Jan 11: Union Minister of State for Culture Dr. Mahesh Sharma is busy with preparations at Kumbh Mela area, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Mahesh Sharma says that Kumbh is a conglomeration of spiritual consciousness and Cultural Heritage where they are committed to showcasing India’s cultural vibrancy. He adds that they are also showcasing here India’s all rich tradition as visualised by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi." Kumbh, he says, will give a chance to people to experience all the colours of Indian Culture at one place. Dr Prasad was present at the News24 Conclave Kumbh Manthan where he threw light on this forthcoming magnificent event. Churning of ideas and philosophies at the Kumbh Manthan is giving a beautiful narrative about the present socio-political scenario. Tall and famous saints and visionaries of India are simplifying complex matters of twisted faith with ulterior motives.The Kumbh Mela in Triveni Sangam, the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati is a major event as this Hindu pilgrimage attracts crores of people not just from India, but from across the world. This mega event will take off from January 15th to March 4, 2019. According to a rough estimation, the event will be attended by around 120 million people. None other than Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh is heading the administration team to ensure that everything goes smoothly. In the election year, the Kumbh Mela becomes all the more important. The Ram Mandir issue, which is one of the major issues in the Lok Sabha Polls, and which has the potential to be a game changer also makes this conglomeration of Hindus in this mega event important.Dr Mahesh Sharma spoke eloquently on all the major plans around Kumbh which are near completion now. He also said from the News24 Conclave that he is not at all perturbed by the Mahagathbandhan in Uttar Pradesh and said that this is just a relationship of convenience, nothing more.
