SPY SHOTS OF THE MIDDLEWEIGHT NAKED BIKE FROM KTM REVEAL ITS SHARP DESIGN, MINIMALISTIC PROPORTIONS AND A PARALLEL TWIN ENGINE
The KTM 790 Duke prototype was first showcased at the EICMA Motor show in Milan last year. Few months ahead of the EICMA show, the motorcycle has been spotted testing in Europe. The bike gets a sharper looking front design with new dual split headlamps, which are a part of the new KTM design language. It gets a redesigned rear design with a repositioned underseat right-aligned exhaust muffler unit. The design of the rear section along with the muffler unit does look slightly curvy compared to the sharp lines of the entire bike.
The KTM 790 Duke is powered by the parallel twin engine and gets dual disc brakes at the front and a single disc brake unit at the rear. Suspension work is handled by beefy USD telescopic forks at the front and a single monoshock unit at the rear.
It is expected that KTM will be showing off the bike at the EICMA Motor Show 2017. It will come loaded with features like all the KTM bikes in the pipeline and will be a good value for money bike. The power output figures have not surfaced yet but the bike will face competition from the Kawasaki Z800 and Triumph Speed Triple.
