Kohli beats Sachin by Virat margin...Blasts 36th 100, breaks these world records

New Delhi, Oct 19: Indian skipper has done it again..scored another 100 in ODIs and broke a number of records. In the first ODI against the West Indies at Guwahati Kohli scored his 36th ODI in just 88 balls, before getting out for 140. In the process he has become the fastest to score 36 ODI tons beating Sachin Tendulkar.Sachin took 311 innings to make 36 centuries, while Kohli took just 204 innings. Kohli is only player in world to score 8 centuries while chasing a victory target of over 300 runs. K Sangakara of Sri Lanka had done this only 4 times.On Sunday, Kohli became the first player in the world in 2018 to score more than 2000 runs in international cricket.        Kohli is now all set to beat the great Sachin Tendulkar and add yet another feather in his crowded cap. Indian captain is on verge of becoming the fastest to 10000 runs in ODIs. And in the process he will be the fifth Indian batsman and 13th overall to join the elite club.                  Kohli now has to score just 81 runs in 4 remaining ODIs against the West Indies.Before this match, Kohli had 9779 runs in 203 ODI innings at an average of 58.20. That is, he needs just 221 runs to reach the milestone of 10,000 runs. Once he gets to that he will be fifth Indian to do so after Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Sachin had taken 259 innings to complete 10000 runs.Sachin is world number 1 with 18426 runs in ODIs.
