Kashmir all-party meet: Govt says ready to talk to anybody, Left wants PM to visit Pak

New Delhi: The members of all-party delegation who visited J&K have unanimously prepared a statement. “The delegation feels there is no place for violence in a civilised society and there can be no compromise on issue of national sovereignty,” according to MoS PMO.

The members appeal to the people of the state to shun the path of violence and resolve all issues through dialogue and and discussion, said Minister of State in PMO Jitendra Singh.

“We went to meet Hurriyat leaders because we want to tell the people of Kashmir that we reached out,” said CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury.
