Karnataka Congressmen homes  and  Gujarat MLAs resort raided

New Delhi: Is vendetta politics at its zenith? How else will one explain multiple raids being conducted since early Wednesday morning at Karnataka senior Congress leaders’ houses and also at Eagleton resort where Gujarat Congress MLAs are staying.

IT raids began at 7 AM this morning. Karnataka energy Minister DK Shivakumar was in-charge of hospitality for Gujarat Congress MLAs in Bengaluru. IT raids are also underway at Karnataka energy Minister DK Shivakumar's residence in Kanakapura, Sadashivanagar and Congress MLAs rooms in Eagleton Golf Resort.

Not just this, Income Tax department raids are also on Eagleton Golf Resort in Bengaluru where Congress Gujarat MLAs are staying. The Congress had sent 44 of its legislators to a resort outside Bengaluru to fend off "poaching" attempts by the BJP ahead of the August 8 Rajya Sabha polls in Gujarat. Of the 57 Congress MLAs in the state, from where senior party leader Ahmed Patel is contesting, six have already resigned from the party with three of them joining the BJP  Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala hada demanded that the Election Commission (EC) lodge a criminal case against the BJP for poaching its MLAs using "money and muscle" power.
