New Delhi: Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' addresses the 29th New Delhi World Book Fair through a virtual ceremony on Friday.
The National Book Trust (NBT) will organize the 29th edition of the annual Delhi World Book Fair virtually from March 6 to 12, 2021 due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
The event, which is organised annually at the Pragati Maidan grounds in January, has been moved to the virtual medium as pandemic-related restrictions are in place, National Book Trust (NBT) chairman Govind Prasad Sharma said in a statement.
"Inaugurating the virtual edition of #WorldBookFair organised by @nbt_india. #NEPTransformingIndia @EduMinOfIndia @PIB_india @MIB_India @DDNewslive @mygovindia @transformIndia", Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal tweeted.
The policy is a vision document that aims to universalise the Indian Education system from pre-primary levels to higher education. The policy endeavors to enhance the quality of education equally for all and move in the direction of strengthening India as a global superpower, read the statement.
The theme for the New Delhi World Book Fair is 'National Education Policy 2020'.
