New Delhi, News24 Bureau, March 14: There is a big opening in Indian Railways as more than 1 lakh jobs are advertised. The last date to apply is April 12, 2019.

137769 students will be selected and this is a big opportunity for the eligible job seekers. Follow these steps and apply for this job:
-There are different websites for different zones of Railways and you have to go to your respective zone .
-Now click on CEN 01/2019 application
-Now give the required details in the application form
-Then complete the e-challan details
-Take out a print-out of the application form
In the vacancy the requirement is for Track Maintenance Grade-4, Helper assistant, assistant postman etc.
The fees can be submitted till 23 April.
Application Fees:
General category will have to pay Rs 500 and reserved category will have to pay Rs 250
Eligibility:
The eligibility will be finalised according to the posts. Men will have to participate and run with 35 kilos weight. Women will have to run with 20 kilos weight.
-Exam pattern:
Candidates will be expected to have a sound knowledge of general awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence, Reasoning etc. They will be required to answer 100 questions in 90 minutes. There will be negative marking as well.
Railways had said for 1.3 lakh posts. The process of selection for 30 thousand posts for paramedical staff, NTPC is already on.
