New Delhi: The online registration deadline for the Common Law Admission Test, (Common Law Admission Test, CLAT 2021) examination will end today on May 15. Candidates who still have not applied for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 can apply online through the official site of CLAT.
CLAT 2021 is a good chance for students aspiring to pursue a career in the field of law through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Nomination is done through CLAT in 22 National Law Colleges across the country. This examination is conducted by the Consortium of Law University. The online application was released by CLAT on April 30 to participate in the exam.
For the UG program of CLAT, the candidate should have passed 12th from any recognized university. College applying students can also eligible to apply for this program. For General and OBC in 12th, 45 percent marks and for SC and ST marks 40 percent. For applying to the PG program, the candidate should have passed LLB with 50 percent marks.
The exam is scheduled for 13 June. It will be in offline mode. 150 questions are asked in UG and 150 for PG. The examination will be for two hours. One mark is scored for each correct answer, while 0.25 marks are deducted if it is wrong. General and OBC candidates will incur an application fee of Rs 4000. At the same time, SC, ST and BPL categories will cost Rs 3500.
For the UG program: 28 to 32 questions will be asked from the English Language, 35 to 39 questions from Current Affairs, 13 to 17 questions from Quantitative Technique, 35 to 39 questions from Legal Reasoning, 28 to 32 questions from Logical Reasoning.
