New Delhi: After canceling the 10th and 12th exams, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is preparing for the evaluation.
The board has constituted an expert committee to conduct the evaluation of class 12 students, which will define the method of evaluation and set objective criteria. This committee will submit its report to the board in 10 days.
There will be 12 members in this committee, along with Vipin Kumar, Joint Secretary, Union Ministry of Education has also been included in it. However, the board has not given any information about when the first meeting of the committee will be held.
CBSE City Coordinator Dr. Ramanand Chauhan says that after the cancellation of the examination, the board is preparing for the evaluation. It is not clear what process will be adopted now. It is expected that the result will be declared after taking the opinion of experts and bringing a best evaluation policy.
CBSE has intensified preparations to introduce Coding and Data Science courses in schools from the academic session 2021-22. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said in a tweet that the aim of these two new courses is to increase the reasoning ability of the students. Coding and data science curriculum will also be included in schools under the new education policy.
Based on various reports, passing students of class XII this year can see the performance of three years in their schools. It is one of the most talked about evaluation criteria that the students are evaluated on the basis of their marks in classes IX, X and XI respectively in the previous years. Apart from this, another option of evaluation criteria can be made 12th practical and pre-board examinations.
For this, in collaboration with Microsoft, youth will be strengthened by teaching them new skills. Explain that coding will be included as a skill module of 12 hours in classes VI to VIII. In this, students will be able to learn about Artificial Intelligence (IE).
