New Delhi: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released a notification for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT batch 02/2021) of recruitment as Commissioned Officer in Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branch. The exam is conducted twice a year.
As per the AFCAT batch 02/2021 notification issued by the IAF, Air Force Joint Entrance Exam 2021 will be conducted for a total of 334 vacancies of courses starting in July 2022.
Interested and desirous candidates of AFCAT batch 02/2021 will be able to apply for the Air Force recruitment through the online application form to be made available on the portal, careerindianairforce.cdac.in or afcat.cdac.in. The AFCAT batch 02/2021 application process is to begin from June 1 and candidates will be able to submit their AFCAT batch 02/2021 application online by June 30, 2021.
Candidates should note that at the time of online registration, they will also have to submit an application fee of Rs 250, which can be paid through an online medium. However, candidates applying under NCC Special Entry and Metrology Entry will not have to submit the application.
There are three stages for the selection process of AFCAT-2 2021. Candidates are required to clear all the three stages that are listed below to be offered an appointment.
Officers intelligence rating test and picture perception and discussion test, psychological test
Group test and interview.
In the AFCAT-2 2021 written exam, there will be a total of 100 questions which will be asked on:
Verbal Ability in English
Numerical Ability and Reasoning
Military Aptitude Test

(a) Flying Branch- Fighters, Transports,Helicopters
(b) Ground Duty (Technical) Branch, Mechanical, Electronics
(c) Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branch, Administration, Accounts, Logistics, Education, Meteorology
