About the vacancy:
There are 896 vacancies for Civil Services (Prelims) exam and 90 vacancies for Indian Forest Service.
Eligibility:
For IAS (Prelims) graduation from a recognised university.
For Indian Forest Services-
A graduation degree from Animal Husbandry, Animal Husbandry Science, Geology, Zoology, Chemical Science, Maths, Statistics, Physics, etc.
Date of Application:
The process has started on February 19. Candidates can appli till March 18. Candidates can isit and apply at upsconline.nic.in
Selection Process:
The exam for Civil Services 2019 is conducted in three stages.
First Preliminary, then Mains followed by interview.
The candidates are expected to have a sound knowledge of History, Languages, Maths, Science, and Sociology.

2. Last date to apply- 18th March 2019
3. Date of Prelims- 2nd June 2019
4. Mains Exam- 20th Sep 2019
5. IFS main exam- 1st December 2019
