New Delhi, Jan 8- After causing a blend in the telecom sector in India, Reliance Jio is now looking towards expanding its services in the form of applications. Reliance Jio already had a bunch of applications such as JioTV and JioCinema for its users. In its latest move, it has listed 3 new applications on Google Play Store – JioBrowser, JioMeet, and JioGroupTalk. All these applications have been launched in order suit the Indian customers. Let’s dig into what each of these applications offers in detail.
JioBrowser With Up to 8 Indian Languages Support, Incognito Mode, Data Saving Featuresestablishing with the jig browser, Reliance is claiming it to be the very first browser which has been developed by keeping Indian consumers in mind. The browser is touted to be lightweight weighing 5MB, which makes it worthy even for the users who have an entry-level Android device. It has a simple interface stacked with Jio’s services and content.
The homepage of JioBrowser shows top rated Indian websites catering to different categories such as technology, shopping, entertainment, sports, and much more. Like Google feed, it will as well enable customers to customize their news feed as per their interests and choice of content consumption. What’s more, the browser is geared with support for up to 8 Indian languages that makes it worthy for Indians across different states. just Like Chrome and other browsers, it as well as an option for incognito mode or private mode.
regarding other features loaded into the jig browser, it has a data-saving option that limits the use of data. The browser is currently just available on Play Store, which clearly states that only Android users are going to use it as of now. Reliance has not revealed any timeline for the browser’s availability on the Application Store for iOS users.
JioGroupTalk For Group Voice Calling along With Features Like Lecture Mode
As the name indicates, the JioGroupTalk application is a ‘multi-party’ audio calling application for Jio users. In normal words, this application enables their users to call multiple Jio users simultaneously. The listing of the application on Play Store clearly states that it will allow users to manage and create a group call supporting up to Ten members. users can create a group and dial the call once they do not need to select members one by one. The JioGroupTalk has a simple interface and supports HD calling. During the conference call, users can even manage participants by adding or removing them and the option of muting is also there. furthermore, it as well has a ‘Lecture Mode’ that allows only 1 member of the group to speak while others are muted and can only listen. The application currently has a 4.9 rating on Play Store, averaged from 271 feedbacks from early users.
JioMeet For Group Video Calling
just Similar to the JioGroupTalk, the JioMeet also focusses on bringing a group together. The intrinsic difference between the 2 lies in their mode of the conference, JioGroupTalk is just an audio platform whereas JioMeet is a video platform. The HD Video Conferencing application allows regular users to add up to five participants simultaneously while the corporate users can add up to twenty-five participants at a time. Users can as well invite members from their contacts by sending them an invite link through Email, SMS, or social media channels like Facebook.
