Jio magic: Company revises plans, now users will get 2GB data in Rs 119

New Delhi, November 1: To take on Reliance Jio, Airtel has revised its prepaid plan ahead of the Diwali season. Airtel has introduced Rs.119 prepaid recharge plan offering similar benefits with the Rs. 99 prepaid plan.

However, the Rs. 119 plan is launched in a segmented manner, which means that some users will get the 2GB data benefit for 28 days while some users will get 1GB data benefits for 14 days. 

Airtel is yet to clear that if Rs. 99 plan is removed but it has been revised to offer 1GB data for 10 days whereas earlier, it used to offer 2GB data for a validity of 28 days.

Airtel Rs 119 plan detail 

Rs 119 plan is offering 2GB of 2G/3G/4G data, unlimited calling, 300 SMS for 28 days. While for some users in the same plan of the Rs 119 plan will get 1GB of 2G/3G/4G data with unlimited calling, 300 SMSes for 14 days.
 Airtel's Rs. 99 prepaid plan 
 Airtel Rs.99 prepaid plan earlier used to offer the same benefits as the current Rs. 119 plan. After revision, the customers will get 1GB of data, unlimited calling and 300 SMS for a period of 10 days.
