Jio gives 1GB data for Rs 10..know how much Airtel, Vodafone charge

New Delhi: It may be April Fools' Day, but Reliance Jio will not be fooling around with you.It will charge you for its services from April 1. However, all domestic voice calls to any network will be free across India, there will be no roaming charges or hidden charges.

The charges that Jio will take from you may be termed as symbolic. To avail the new offer from April 1, you have to become a Jio Prime member by paying a one-time fee of Rs 99. Membership will open on March 1 and close on March 31  

Then as Jio Prime member you will have pay Rs 3636 for a year to get unlimited free calls and 1 GB free data daily till March 31, 2018.

At present Airtel charges Rs 296 for 1 GB of data, one Vodafone plan offers 1 GB for 24 hours at Rs 97. Jio users will have to pay just Rs 10 per GB.

To get Jio Prime membership, you can apply via app or visit your nearest Reliance Jio/Reliance Digital outlet.

How rivals will react to Jio offer? Users are waiting for this. That's because Jio will give 20% more data than rivals, and that too at the same price.
