New Delhi, Nov 25 Chinese handset maker Xiaomi on Friday announced that it sold six lakh units of Redmi Note 6 Pro smartphone during its first Black Friday sale on e-commerce site Flipkart and its own platform Mi.com."Mi Fans! We had 600,000+ units of 'Quad Camera all-rounder' for 1st sale. Went out of stock in mins on @Flipkart & http://Mi.com! If you did not manage to buy one, don't worry. We are getting more stock. Next sale @3pm today," tweeted Manu Kumar Jain, Vice President, Xiaomi Global and Managing Director, Xiaomi India.
"Redmi Note 6 Pro provides meaningful upgrades to the Redmi Note 5 Pro and we hope Mi Fans would be able to enjoy a truly innovative product from Xiaomi," said Anuj Sharma, Chief Marketing Officer, Xiaomi India.
Redmi Note 6 Pro launch offers
Specially for the Black Friday Sale, Xiaomi will offer a discount of Rs. 1,000 on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro which brings down the prices to Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 14,999. Apart from this, HDFC Bank is also offering an instant discount of Rs. 500 if the device is purchased during the Black Friday sale on EMI transactions.
The smartphone will go through the sale on Flipkart and Mi.com at 12 pm tomorrow 23/11/18.
Apart from this one-day offer, Reliance Jio is offering a cashback of Rs. 2,400 and double data offer with the device. The cashback of Rs. 2,400 will be given in the form of 24 vouchers worth Rs. 100 each which will be applicable only on the Rs. 299 Jio recharge plans. Jio is also offering double data benefits on 4 recharges of the Rs. 198 and above until June 2019.
Redmi Note 6 Pro Specifications
The Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with a 6.26-inch FHD+ IPS display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass.There's a 20MP+2MP AI dual camera on the front and a 12MP+5MP AI dual camera setup on the rear with large 1.4µm pixels.The Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with Xiaomi's own MIUI 10 based on Android 8 Oreo."MIUI 10's optimisations mean that Redmi Note 6 Pro offers a bump in battery life as well as features including Wi-Fi passthrough and a completely revamped recent menu that makes best use of available screen space," the company said.The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor and fuelled by a 4000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm "Quick Charge" 3.0.The dual VoLTE feature in the device means that users would be covered on the connectivity front as well.Both variants would be eligible for a discount of Rs 500 via HDFC credit and debit cards and EMI only during the Black Friday Sale.Meanwhile, Reliance Jio would offer a cashback of Rs 2,400 and up to 6TB of 4G data on the purchase of the device.
