New Delhi, June 25: Reliance Jio has come up with few new plans for its JioLink subscribers. The JioLink service is yet to be launched commercially and is in the testing phase and will be launched soon in coming time. The JioLink device is similar to hotspot device for high-speed internet access without any wired connections.
The new plans introduced are Rs 699, Rs 2,099 and Rs 4,199. All three plans offer 5GB hi-speed data per day but without any calling benefits for the subscribers. The Rs 699 plan comes with 5GB data 4G data, post daily limit, the speed will be down to 64kbps. Apart from the 5GB per day limit, the company is also offering 16 GB of additional data which brings the total to 156GB per month valid for 28 days.
Rs 2,099 plan comes with the similar offering like Rs 699 plan but this plan is valid for a quarterly period- 98 days. Apart from daily data limit, the user in this plan gets an additional data of 48GB at 4Gspeeds. So if daily data is summed up with extra 48GB data, so the plan will offer a total of 538GB data for a period of 98 days.
Rs 4,199 plan comes with a half-yearly validity-196 days and with the similar data benefits like the previous two. However, the users will get a total of 96GB 4G data added in the daily limit. This calculates to a total to 1076GB of data per recharge. All three data plans come with a complimentary subscription to Jio Apps.
JioLink will be a service useful for those subscribers who face problems in getting good network coverage indoors. The JioLink service shouldn't be compared with broadband speed and consistency.
