Rohtak: The Prakash Singh committee, set up by Khattar government to enquire the acts of 'omission and commission' by civil and police administration during the Jat quota stir is set to visit Rohtak today.
The committee headed by retired IPS officers will visit the affected areas of the district and interact with the officers. The panel will also meet people from various sections of the society and seek information on the role of the officers during the incident.
Meanwhile, the Haryana government has set March 5 as the last date of sumbission of claims by those whose properties were damaged during the violent stir in the state.
Nearly 28 people were killed and 200 others were injured in the Jat quota agitation. The police have arrested 127 people and lodged FIR against 535 others in regard with the violence in the state.
