New Delhi, Nov 27: In a unique initiative, News24 on Monday honoured the youth power of India under the banner of Jashn-e-Youngistan Samman. The idea is to appreciate and encourage the dynamic young power of the country which is making the country proud.
The first Jashne-Youngistan Samman for Bravery in Paramilitary Forces Police Services went to brave lady CRPF officer Usha Kiran. She was felicitated by Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju.
Who is Usha Kiran?
Usha Kiran is just 27-year-old and has already become CRPF’s first woman officer to be posted in the Naxal hotbed of Bastar region by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Usha Kiran is currently an assistant commandant with CRPF's 80th battalion. She is an inspiration for many and a role model for young tribal women in joining the armed forces.
