J Jayalalithaa is all set to take oath as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu for the second term on May 23. She met the State Governor K Rosaiah at the Raj Bhavan today and handed over the copy of resolution passed by the party's new elected legislators unanimously electing her as the AIADMK's legislature leader.
Jayalalithaa-led AIADMK bagged 134 seats out of the 232 assembly constituencies where polls recently held.
Jayalalithaa is likely to be sworn-in as chief minister on Monday in Chennai at Madras University Centenary Auditorium. The other ministers are also expected to take oath on that same day.
The Governor has approved a list of 29 ministers who will be the part of Jayalalithaa's cabinet, according to reports.
