New Delhi: In a major political development, Nitish Kumar led Janata Dal (United) passed a resolution to join National Democratic Alliance. The decision was taken in the party's National Executive meeting on Saturday.
Meanwhile keeping the chief minister's safety in mind, security outside CM Nitish Kumar's residence in Patna increased after demonstration by Sharad Yadav an RJD supporters. A huge crowd had gathered outside. Security was increased outside CM Nitish Kumar's residence where JDU National Executive Meet was taking place. The City SP an SSP were presnt at the spot.
In July Nitish Kumar had stepped down as the CM of Bihar and snapped all ties with the Mahagathbandhan of RJD an Congress. He had said that he would not not compromise on the isuu of corruption which was hovering around Lalu Yafav and his clan. Tejaswi was the Deputy chief minister of Bihar. After this a great drama unfolded and he was back on the chief mister's chair after getting a support from the BJP. This was not appreciated by many JD(U) workers an its veteran leader Sharad Yadav ha said that Nitish Kumar was insulting th mandate of the people of Bihar who had voted against the BJP. This also irke th veteran and a split was imminent in JD(U). And today all clouds of uncertainty was cleared as Janata Dal (United) passed a resolution to join National Democratic Alliance. The decision was taken in the party's National Executive.
